Dr. Brieger is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in Boston, MA. She is passionate about getting to know her patients’ unique backgrounds and working together to develop plans that are both evidence-based and practical. She is committed to providing compassionate care, tailored to an individual's or family's needs. Her particular areas of expertise include women's mental health, adolescents/young adults, and young children and families. Whether the issue is new or decades old, she enjoys working with patients to discover a path out of mood, anxiety, attention, eating, or relational challenges.
Dr. Brieger offers medication management, psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and combined medication management and therapy.
She received her MD and PhD (Epidemiology) from the University of Michigan Medical School and School of Public Health before completing residency training in Adult Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School. She is also completing Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.
